I am the author of The Time Lords: Jeff Bezos, a 10,000-year Clock, and Big Tech's Quest to Seize the Future (Beacon Press).

It explores Silicon Valley history, billionaire altruism, and a secret project to build a global monument inside a mountain on Jeff Bezos's ranch in Texas. Also, the end of the world.
